Who we are
The organization is formed by a group of people ranging from 23 to 44 years old, Spanish and Moroccan who are very involved with the Errachidia area and who dedicate their free time to improve it.
El Bassma is a Non Profit Organizations created in 2008 in the region of Errachidia, in South East Morocco, with headquarters in Spain since 2014 under the N.I.F G87101531. Both headquarters were created by a group of young Moroccans and Spaniards who had the idea of creating cultural projects to help the children in that region. The activities are carried on by international volunteers that cooperante every year with the association.

We focus all our actions, both supportive and communicative, to the development of a region where children suffer the most from the economic and cultural situation.
We establish a clear and firm base when developing projects and our aim is to get volunteers who are willing to cooperate with the initiative.
We are completely open to all suggestions and contributions because of our human capital.
Within the organization, there is no boss or person with authority to obtain power over any other person or action. We are all part of a Board in which all proposals are voted.
Being an organization committed to education in the region through the creation of educational and cultural projects where the main objective is that children and adolescents develop new skills and abilities and may have some basic conditions for their development.
Being a leader in the region with the capacity to respond to the needs in education and culture, being a useful tool for social change through non-formal education. Providing recreational activities and education along with the teaching of languages.
Commitment: Train the human capital to make the best out of each person, Everything helps
Transparency: The management of resources within the existing legal framework and under strict control.
Respect: To accept the cultural and social diversity of each person.
Solidarity: To gain knowledge of a social reality and to become involved in the changing process, from the commitment and the analysis of the reality to our actions.
Youthful spirit: ability to understand, take risks, innovate, change, reflect, and to overcome obstacles.
Honesty: To fulfil our commitment and agreements with integrity in our philosophy, not to defraud anyone.
Simplicity: No names, just people on the same level dedicated to a common good.
